Although it was a small ceremony in front of the JOP, she and Scott are now husband and wife. I am so happy for my sister and it brings me so much joy to share this news with all of my friends here at my blog. How fitting, to be able to create her card and have some inspiration along the way from a few challenges. I love challenges for that reason. They help to get me motivated (by lighting a small little fire under my rear end) to get projects done that I may have otherwise put off. CONGRATULATIONS SISSY-FER (that's her nickname :O) LOL!
So here is the card I created, using, once again, an image from Sliekje Stamps. I colored the image with my Whisper Strokes markers and used 3D foam to pop it up a bit. The scallop was cut using my Cricut Lacy Labels cart, Bliss, at 4 1/2" on black card stock and again popped up with 3D foam. The ribbon is a decorative white trim with satin ribbon stitched through and I placed 3 rhinestones at each end.. The wedding bells are from a Victoria Lynn embellishment set. The sentiment sticker is from my stash. I stamped 'love' using a my clear stamps and a shiny silver ink pad by Ink It Up and moving it in opposite directions all over the front of the card, which is on plain white card stock.
