Today has been quite busy finishing up some open ended projects for the Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show this coming Saturday. I am excited and nervous all at once. I have never been a vendor before. Although I am comfortable talking with people, I am nervous that I won't do it right! I am trying to think ahead to be sure I have a wide array of products that will appeal to many different tastes. I got some awesome deals at PC today and am eager to work with some of the cool items I bought. I love that July 4th is right around the corner and I get to work with Red, White and Blue on a lot of projects. I plan to make a few wreaths, which I enjoy almost as much as paper crafting!!! I also figured that I would have an ample supply of Father's Day cards available to help out those procrastinators (like me) that can check that off their list of things to do while browsing the 45 vendor displays that will be at the Show. I am eager to see all of the other vendors' creativity since I only got a sneak peak when I first signed up. There are going to be so many types of arts and crafts and I am so excited. Ok, did I say I was excited like a million times or what????
Anywho, I have been seeing the Shirt and Neck Tie cards all over the place and just couldn't wait to try it out. I think they are absolutely darling and such a fun way to show those men in our lives that we love them. The directions I followed can be found here. All in all, the 15 cards were completed in a *snap*. I just need to add the inside sentiments and some buttons on the collars and they are finished!
Thanks for stopping by
and
Happy Crafting!

ReplyDeleteThe father's day cards are wonderful - need to try this myself. And... you'll do wonderful at the Show. Hope you'll take pics of your setup and let us know how it all goes. I've never really done a craft show either (I've been a vendor at other types of shows) and I'm curious how you like it after it's over. Good luck and have FUN!!
