Rocked about Challenge

I just finished an amazing color inspiration challenge by Vanessa at CSDivas.  The object of the challenge was to take this fantastic picture and use it as inspiration to create a LO.
I loved these colors so I just couldn't pass up this challenge.  I took into consideration before making a LO, all of the colors, as well as, the linear elements on the walls and sofa, and the textures on each piece.  Here's my creation:

Page 2 (right side)

Full 2 page LO

I used the soft blue as my CS background.  It has a grain texture.  The photo matte is doubled in a textured brown (to mimic the wood on the sofa) and a green with flower pp (to mimic the pillows on the sofa).  The blue pp in the corners represents the bean bag chairs on the floor.  The flowers were fussy cut from patterned paper that matched the entire color scheme and placed on the page with white paper twine to outline them (to mimic the pictures hanging on the wall).  The triangular shapes at the top and bottom along with the green striped pp were to mimic the painted walls.  And finally the diamond shaped pink pp were placed near the green flower photo map (to mimic the pink pillows on the sofa).

I thank you for stopping to visit my blog and ask that you feel free to leave a comment!
