I was eager to get done with a creation to participate in the challenge over at Diana's Blog-DLArt. Diana celebrated her 1 Year Blogaversary this week and to celebrate, she hosted a Blog Hop and is hosting a challenge that ends tomorrow, January 6th. We had to use the elements we found during the blog hop and I was anxious to start. This card will resemble my last post a bit because I tried to use up some of the scraps I had left over. I am pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
I also wanted to get some entries done for some other challenges, too...
Unity Opportunity - Ippity Challenge 1/04 through 1/15
Unity Stamp Co. - FB Itty Bitty Challenge
Unity January KOM Sketch Challenge
The Paper Shelter - #45 AG
The Outlawz - Twisted Thursday TT010512
Little Scrap Pieces - New or Old (Link Up)
I also plan to link this up to the Unity Friends with Flair tomorrow (1/06/12) and will add the link when the post is up in the morning!!!
And, Diana, I thought for a few days after the hop on how to incorporate the #1, but kept coming back to the sentiment you see above that had "one" in it. I hope that works for the challenge! :O)
RECIPE:
BASE-Kraft card stock base
FOCAL POINT - pink/coral dp (negative cut from Lacy Labels) and white card stock
Sentiment stamp from Unity August 09 KOM - Following my heart (RETIRED)
Bird on a branch from Unity August 09 KOM - Following my heart (RETIRED)
***Please note**** - the sentiment with the bird on a branch can be purchased as an Itty Bitty through Unity ---HERE---
Pearls, lace trim, and button all from stash
Ink - Tim Holtz Distress Ink -Vintage Photo & Studio G-Green
