Welcome to
the
100 Cartridge
Blog Hop
October 1 & 2
If you are arriving from Lisa Carrier 's Blog, then you are on the right track.
If you need to start from the beginning, please head over to
My Cricut Craft Room.
This month we got to choose 4 Cricut Cartridges that we wanted
to use on our projects.
I chose to use:
Doodlecharms, Holiday Cakes, Nickelodeon SpongeBob, and Slumber Party.
(I threw in a 5th cartridge, too . . .Pretty Pennants)
I have promised each of my kids
that I would make them
a special altered
notebook to draw
and write in.
This one is for Lance Jr.
It was a hit!
When I handed it to him, he told me
"I really super duper like this Mommy"!
Most of the papers used were from my
leftover scraps.
I tried to take some angled picture so you could see
that I raised SpongeBob up on 3D foam squares.
Bubble Border cut from Holiday Cakes cartridge at 1"
Seahorse cut from Doodlecharms cartridge at 2"
SpongeBob cut from cartridge at 5"
Soak It Up Phrase also cut from the SpongeBob cartridge at 5"
Alarm clock cut from Slumber Party cartridge at 2"
Banner was cut from Pretty Pennants cartridge at 3/4"
I will be linking up my project
to the Unity Theme challenge - Banners and Pennants.

Just a side note to say how much I love all of the time and energy and HEART that you put into this Design Team, you may be one of the newer members, but you would never guess that with how involved you are. Of course.... Love having you on the DT, but more than anything... I AM SO HAPPY that we met and are friends outside of crafting!! You are a wonderful team member and and even better friend. I know i am busy all of the time and I do not take the time to show you how appreciated you are.... so I am doing so now!
I do hope that this a the beginning of a life-long friendship.... There must have been many reasons why I didn't move to Utah (I know you are one of them) Thank you for all that you do for/with this team and Social Networking!!!! LOVE YA!!!

Adorable Sponge Bob journal!!! Your kids are so lucky!!!! I made some of these for my school aged daycare kids last Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI love making these notebooks so, much that I taught some of my moms teacher friend and my mom how to make them. I just found out today that my mom has made a set of 8 of them for all kids of her activities. And the teachers are having all of their students make them for there yearly journals. I just got Spongebob a few weeks ago and kind of got confused with all the layers but, I guess I just have to take time to actually read the book. You did such a great job with your book.
ReplyDeleteMCCR DT Sister~Sharon
What a great book. I wish I would have thought of something like this when my son was in school. TFS
