Dream to create the future....altered notebook

What a week so far....
it seems that every time I get the crafty bug under my feet
it gets squashed by
the housework bug,
the extra mommy and kids' time bug
and
the mommy needs a nap bug
. . . LOL!

Nonetheless, I am thankful
that I did get a little crafty time in
over the last 4 days.

I was hoping to finish
this altered composition book
for my Monday DT Post at the Creative Scrapbooking Divas,
but as you read, those silly bugs kept getting in the way...LOL
and I didn't meet my deadline.

I am happy to be sharing it today.
The long awaited time to finish it was all worthwhile in the end.
I am really happy with how pretty it turned out.
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but you
have those kinds of moments, right?

The papers are from a 2007 MME Mademoiselle/Tres' Jolie Collection named "Darling"
along with some Recollections card stock.  The Cappuccino and Buttercream twine used is from The Twinery.  The pink twine use is from Doodlebug Designs.  The lace trim at the top is from 2011MME ~ Stella and Rose collection named "Little Lady" Trims.
The pink trim with beads was a crafty steal I picked up at my LSS....yay!!!!
All ink is TH Vintage Photo, TH Antique Linen and edge ink is from Studio G Brown.  I heat embossed the majority of the images using matching TH Distress Embossing Powders.
The pink Twine along the bind was threaded through eyelets by Making Memories I added to the outer covers before adhering them to the book.  I hand crafted the beaded charm at the top using several of my glass beads from my collection and some brown embroidery thread.  The heart button and hounds-tooth chipboard embellishment are from my stash.  A little added pink Studio G glitter glue, and the masterpiece (LOL) was finished.
All stamps used are by Unity. . .
Clock and A Always and Forever sentiment - from Unity Feb KOM {lucky to have you}
Tag Sentiment, Bird, and Birdcage- random stamps from a Grab Bag purchase
Small butterflies - Dutch Mustard Soup by Jillibean
Large Butterfly - from Unity Jan KOM {HEART and SOUL}
I made this with some inspiration and help from some crafty challenge blogs....
thank GOD for these blogs.  They truly do inspire
me when I am at a roadblock with crafty ideas.
Dutch Dare - #154 Tic-Tac-Toe ( I used Ribbon, Distressing, and Button)

Thank You So Much for all of the love you show me....It is all truly magnificent and
a great way to keep me going!!!
Keep Crafting
