Sweet Baby Girl Party Pack

Who doesn't love the beautiful moments to be remembered at a child's First birthday????  Or, who doesn't love the long awaited arrival of a new bundle of joy????     I had so much fun putting this party pack together.  I almost wish I had the knowledge about crafts back when I was pregnant with all my little bundles of joy.  I could've did some cool decorating for my own baby showers....LOL!

This party pack started out as a "Baby Shower" theme, but something unexpected happend when I cut my stroller out using Graphically Speaking and paper by Martha Stewart (double sided - baby girl prints).  When I was putting the pink overlay on top, I noticed the words "first birthday" stuck out like a sore thumb.  So, this could be a versatile party pack.  Celebrate a new baby, or celebrate their 1st birthday.
I wrapped coordinating strips of paper around some plastic eating utensils and around a plastic cup full of colorful straws for just a bit of extra pizazz <<<<my word of the week, I think!  :O)

The rosettes were made by first cutting strips 1" X 12" and the larger one is 1.5" X 12" (same paper pack as mentioned before).  Then I accordion folded the strips (at 1/4" intervals), meeting the ends together, adding a dab of glue, and placing a small round die cut in the center.  I then added some of my Provo Craft Mon Petit embossed stickers to the fronts. (I love making the handmade rosettes.  I started yesterday and have a feeling they will be making appearances all over my creations now...LOL)
The glass jar holding the rosettes was an old triangular shaped salad dressing Jar I kept "just in case" (I knew I would use it.....LOL).  I filled the jar with Darice Berry Accents foam opalescent beads.  I used my bow easy to make the pink bow at the top and adhered two strips, from the same paper pack, that state "baby GIRL" to each tail of the bow.
I cut my stroller out as stated previously, made a smaller pink satin bow to embellish the stroller, added a pop dot to the back and placed it on a recycled gift bag my mom had just given Ariana a few days ago....man, oh, man, the amount of recycling and altering on this project is even amazing me....LOL!!!!

The small table tents were cut from a 2 1/2" wide strip that I cut in sections of 4 1/2" then folded in half.  Once folded, I grabbed my Studio G Sweet Baby rubber stamp and my Pink Studio G ink pad.

I am quite thrilled with the amount of fun this provided while creating.  And I hope you get some enjoyment out of peeking at my creation.  Happy Crafting!!!!
