I created this card just a few days ago, before I even knew this Link Up was happening....funny how things work out.
I found a perfect image (to suit my fancy) and colored with my Whisper Strokes Dual Tip Watercolor Markers.
I started with black card stock as my base cut to 6x6. I then used Bo Bunny striped paper for my next layer cut to 5x5. My center square (black again) measured 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 before I crinkled it into a ball and gave the edges a torn effect. I then used an olive green Studio G ink pad to emphasize all the creases. I used inque boutique ribbon (chartreuse) and bunched it across the bottom of the striped paper. I then used a skull sticker (from a pack I bought a while back) that reminds me of Maleficent's little sidekick ghoul in Sleeping Beauty. The saying "frightful" is a rub-on. The faux stitching around the edge of the black card stock and striped paper was done using my white gel pen.
I hope you enjoy and will consider joining in on this FUN FUN FUN link up party!!!
