Happy Monday to all of you this evening. I am very Happy to be posting a project today. Time for crafting has been very scarce lately. I just finished a fun card that I think I may just have to duplicate. I used a lot of challenges to help me get the mojo flowing.
Here's the Recipe:
I cut everything twice for the front and inside of the card.
I started by cutting my gray dp using Lacy Lables, Bliss cut, layer 2 at 6"
I then cut gray textured card stock as a backing using the same cut and size
I cut my yellow card stock using Lacy Labels, Home cut, layer 2 at 4 1/2"
I embossed the yellow circle using a Darice flower/flourish folder
I hand cut my pink c'oredinations border strip to fit within my yellow circles
I stamped the flowers and my sentiment using {ippity} Thanks for all Things
Ink used: Ranger Archival Ink
I glued some roses in coordinating colors
I added a pink bow and "hinge" to my card using 3 Girl Jam Baby Girl Pink crinkle ribbon
I added a few pink pearls and the card was complete.
Challenges that helped me with this creation are:
1. The Outlawz - GC 110711 - Give Thanks
2. Chick Challenges - #5 Sketch with Barbara
and here is the sketch
3. PDCC- #106 Gray, Pink, Yellow
and here's the photo/color inspiration
4. Creative Craft Challenges - Fancy Edges
5. Whimsical Designs - AG or Thankful
6. Dutch Dare - #137 Give Thanks
7. Create Me Pink - #3 Flower challenge
8. Paper Playtime - #60 Thank You
I hope you enjoy peeking at my creation this evening and love all feedback that you provide...
Happy Crafting
and
Until Next Time
