Beautiful View, Time to Relax

So late last night, it dawned on me, "You only have 4 hours to complete the SYAO Challenge at Paper Secrets"!  I was in a bit of a panic and started to rush around.  Well, that will teach me.  I ended up ripping through my newly organized craft room in a frenzy leaving a path of disaster at every turn...LOL!  My paper flower that I created using my Fiskars Heart punch was so pretty, in the beginning, then I had to go and mess it up.  *chuckling* . . . But I did finish the sketch and the LO is complete.  A few minor adjustments to the flower, and all was not lost.  This was a really fun sketch and I think I learned that I need to pay closer attention to the deadlines at Paper Secrets since I already have 7 of the challenges under my belt.  Wouldn't want to get knocked out of the competition after having this much time and crafting invested!

Outside of my passion of the arts, my second passion would be my lovely flowers that enhance our wonderful front, side, and backyards.  Again, my daughter played photographer and I was amazed at some of the pics she took of the flowers that bloomed just this last week.  The white and orange flowers are both Lilies and the purple is a Columbine (I believe).

  3. Wow, Jessica, you can't tell you rushed making this at all -- it is gorgeous!! Your daughter is an amazing photographer and those flowers are spectacular! What a beautiful project!! I hate to admit this, but I leave a path of destruction in my craft room every single time I make anything! I clean it up before I start a new project, but then tornado Lisa blows through again and it is a complete mess. It's a viscous cycle :D
