Welcome to the Creative Scrapbooking Divas Christmas in July Blog Hop!
It may not feel like snow outside in the northern hemisphere, but if we get started on holiday projects now, we might be ready by December--we would love for you to plan and play along! Please join us as we share with you the wonderful holiday projects of CSDivas. Comment on our blog hop thread starting July 9, 2011 to begin!
If you are just joining us now, you can go to Luisa’s blog to start at the beginning so you won’t miss a hop stop and be eligible for the blog hop prize. If you came over from Sandy's Blog, then you are on the right track.
I love Christmas for a lot of reasons, but just to name a few: snow angels, caroling, cute and fuzzy reindeer, kids opening gifts. Oh, and don't forget the ***jingle bells***. For my project, I had a stack of paper that I purchased right after Christmas and hadn't got to use yet (ooohhh, early present for me, right there...LOL). The stack is called Harvest Holiday, by Cloud9 and boy oh boy is it nice! I really like the embossed metallic accents some of the design papers have and the prints are so festive. I wanted to stick with my CSDivas theme/group, Home Decor-Gifts, so I decided to make a decorative garland. I will post some step-by-step pictures at the bottom of this post if you are interested in learning more about how I achieved these results.
