Super Fun Announcement
This entire project will serve as a Gift for a fabulous event I am taking part in called The Mischievous Crafter hosted by the Admins from the group, Scrapbook Friends and More Crafts.
This event is going to be so fun!
I am on the edge of my seat waiting to play!
PLEASE NOTE*--- You must be an active member of the SFMC Group and BE PRESENT on December 12th in order to Join The Fun!

The object of the Event goes a little like this.....
---You CREATE a project which will be gifted to another event participant.

---The project should have a value of at least $10 if you were to sell it at a craft fair.

---You must have your project finished by December 11th, as the Event takes place on December 12th.

---The Mischievous Crafter is the group's version of Dirty Santa or White Elephant (different people call it different things).  Each participant will have a chance to select the item they desire on their turn.  In turn each participant will have the options of selecting an item that has not been selected or taking an item that has been selected. (items can only be stolen 3 times. The third time it is stolen that person is the owner.)

Crafty Coersion
The SFMC Facebook Group is an amazing place to meet new friends, learn new craft techniques and styles, play games, and chit chat with crafters from all over the world.  I have had a wonderful experience since participating with the group
just recently and enjoy the fellowship and inspiration I have gained since doing so.

New members are joining SFMC each and every day!

Easy Gift Bag: Brown Paper Bag and Coffee Filter

Hey there Blends and 3 Girl JAM-mers

Today is my Design Team Day and
I am sharing a fun little tutorial on
how to turn a simple coffee filter
    and brown paper lunch bag
    into a Marvelous Gift Bag
    with the help of some
    3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon
    and
    other products.

If you are up to creating something amazing
    and plan to use Ribbon,
you should LINK UP to the
    Current 3 Girl JAM Challenge
    taking place NOW . . .
    ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON

    Now, onto the project sharing ;) . . .

I made this Get Well Bag a while ago
when my Sweet Friend Forever (SFF), Heather Lynn
was not doing so well and
was making many trips to the Hospital.
She was very ill and I just wanted to do something
    to brighten her days!

First I stamped the Brown Bag using
this beautiful Wishing Well and Sentiment Stamp Duo by SweetStamps
and some Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink.

Next I took my coffee filter and gave it a good "wrinkle up".
As it was balled up (with zero uniform....lol), I lightly dabbed
parts of it in an array of Fall Colored Distress Inks.  I
turned the filter inside out and wrinkled it up a few more times,
following the same steps with each color of ink.

After the inking was done, I folded it into a cone shape
and trimmed the ends (roughly, and again without uniform)
    using my zig zag shears.

After placing the gift inside the bag, I folded the paper bag
down a few times, then placed the coffee filter
over the top and used Glue Dots to hold it in place.

To accent the bright colors on my filter, I chose to use
    Hot Chocolate Crinkle Ribbon
from the Hot & Cold Bundle
and tied it in a knot with two tails of ribbon dangling.

The small flower adorning the ribbon
is from the Pinque Peacock Shop.
It is a Small Layered Garden Beauty made from the
Nana's Pillowcase Fabric and Wild Oak Burlap.

Each LGB flower you order can be
adorned with a Flat Back Pearl or Rhinestone
    from Miriam's Crafting Supply.
You can order the LGB sets
in any of the Fabric Options available
    in the Pinque Peacock Shop.

This is a quick and easy way to create
a unique and personal gift bag for any occasion.

Now, before you leave, I want to share another quick project
    I created over the weekend.

I used one of the darling Muslin Bags
by Stateline Bag Co., which you can purchase
at the 3 Girl JAM Shop as well!!!

So, if you need any ideas
on how to create something fun and unique,
    using these fun bags,
peek around the Blog while you are HERE,

visit the 3 Girl JAM Challenge Blog for ideas,

    3 Girl JAM Challenges

    or you can check out
the 3 Girl JAM Pinterest Boards!

Here is my project with a brief description below :)

    I started with a Small 3.25" x 5" Muslin Bag (from 3 Girl JAM)
and stamped the Turkey image and sentiment
    (by My Creative Time)
    with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink.
I then stamped the image on several card stock
and patterned paper pieces (all from my scraps)
    and began fussy cutting.
I layered the feathers directly on the muslin bag,
then popped a few up with 3D foam,
and then layered a set of feathers behind the turkey body.
The leaves were cut with the Leaf Die (also by My Creative Time).
The rosette was adorned with a brown button.
I simply wrapped the dark brown J
ute Twine (from Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions)
around the bag and tied the bow.
    To finish the project,
I wanted a little "Wobble with my Gobble"
and put the turkey on an Action Wobble!

Hello Kitty Hair Tie with 3 Girl JAM

Hey there Blends and 3 Girl JAMmers
Today is my Design Team Day and
I am posting a fun and easy Hair Accessory that
you can "Whip Up" in No Time!

My 5 year old, Ariana, is such a Girly Girl.
    When I asked her
    if she would like me
to make her her a fun
    Hello Kitty Hair Tie
    to match her new
Hello Kitty tennis shoes, she was thrilled.

I started with a Hello Kitty 1.5" Fabric Covered Button
    from the Pinque Peacock Shop.

    (If you would like
to check out the entire selection
    of 1.5" Fabric Buttons available
    at Pinque Peacock

    Next, I grabbed my FANTASTIC
3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon in colors that
coordinated with the Image on the Button:
    Cherry Lipstick
    Tuxedo Black
    Dress White
    Holly Berry
    and
    Baby Girl

I decided the eyelet back would serve as an excellent
anchor to feed my ribbon through.
I fed the ribbon through the eyelet one at a time
to prevent from causing it to bunch up or get frayed.
as well as help secure the rubber band
towards the end of the project.

    Once those were in place,
I added some fun accent beads
    and metal spacers
to the ends of the ribbon
for a little extra GIRLY PIZAZZ!!!!
I simply tied a knot to hold the beads onto the ribbon ends.
(Notice the colors of Ariana's outfit....LOL...she LOVES pink)

    A great way to
    give your little diva
a Smile that will Last All Day
    (and Days to Come)

    Thanks for Stopping In Today

    Stop by 3 Girl JAM
    to shop around
    and place an order
    for this Beautiful Ribbon!
There are limitless options for using it in your projects
    and in many cases,
    The Crinkle Ribbon will
LEND YOU THE MOJO (as it did here today)

Happy Halloween and Fright Night Sweets

Today, I am happy to share some wonderful Fall Colors with you
as we CREEP into the Days before Halloween.

Fall is my favorite time of year.
There is so much to Celebrate!

Speaking of CELEBRATING . . . there is still time to join the Current Challenge
     (LINK UP BELOW)

I enjoy the Crisp Cool Air, but love Nature's Color Palette
that starts showing up in early October.

I am excited for the little ones to enjoy their Trick-or-Treat escapade,
and decided a cute Treat Bag and Card was what I would make for my project today.

The Muslin Bags are one  of my favorite items to use from the

I used the 5x7 size bag for my Fright Night Sweets.

For my card, I used my new Mister Huey sprays and mask to create the background.
The fence was cut from black card stock using my Memory Box "Rounded Fence" die.

The pattern paper is from the Bo Bunny Apple Cider 6x6 stack.
I adorned the fence with Crinkle Ribbon Mini Bows created using the 3 Girl JAM Bow Maker.
Bows: Harvest Orange, Goblin Green, Sunflower Yellow, and Hot Chocolate
The Spooky Tree and label on my treat bag were stamped from the Echo Park and Unity Stamp Co. set called "fright night".
