I always look so forward to participating in Maryanne's Monthly Online Crop. Thank you so much Maryanne for all the time and thought you put into these. You are truly a blessing.
The crop for February is in full swing. Many of the challenges have been completed by guests, and oh what fun I am having viewing everyone's creations. If you are interested in joining in, you have until Tuesday, February 22, to complete the challenges. Great prize giveaways and new friend connects. The games are addictive and the laughter is contagious [even if you don't actually here the laughter...LOL "O)]

Here are some of the things I completed so far.....
Thursday's challenge was to scraplift one of Maryanne's page layouts....http://theblogfrog.com/935825/forum/80958/february-2011-online-crop---thursday-challenge.html?start=1&replyid=708387
My 2 page scraplift layout...
Friday's Challenge: Check out Crop Participants' Blogs and get inspired for your creation. Make a layout, card or altered item using colors, a project, theme, etc. from a Crop Participant's Blog. Let us know whose blog you decide to use for inspiration.
I was inspired by Amber Life, Love, Green www.lifelovegreen.com to work on an altered frame. Her "Old Key Wall Art" was gorgeous!!! http://www.theiheartblog.com/2010/09/old-key-wall-art/
I had just recently purchased some rustic star accents, an old picture frame, and had a few lonely old yard flags laying around. I am using a cardboard cutout for the base, patterned paper, and ribbon as well. Curious to see my final project.
Thanks Amber!!! :O)
OK, so as I am finishing my "altered frame", when it dawns on me that I am not working with a shadow box, therefore, it won't fit back in the frame, duh! So, I came up with an idea for a two-sided wall decor. One side is dedicated to Stars, Stripes, and Freedom. The other is a Home Sweet Home picture. It would have been nice to frame it, and maybe that will still happen, but this is what I was able to complete for now.
I finished my Saturday challenge before my Friday challenge. My two words were Diva and Butterfly.
I made a birthday card for one of my closest friends.
I also completed a 2 page layout using Butterfly Kisses as the theme.
I love the monthly crops too, it's so fun to meet other creative people...like you!
