~ ~ Live Each Moment ~ ~ with 3 Girl JAM

HELLO Sweet Blends
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I am here with a quick project to  share with ALL of YOU!!!

I was so happy to get back into crafting mode after a VERY LONG time away from sharing some projects.  I created a card using a St. Patrick's Day color scheme and some fun other  elements.

I started with a 4.25" x 4.25" black card base.  I cut two Persian Motifs from my Spellbinders  set.  The largest motif,  green polka dot pattern paper, is from the amy tangerine - Sketchbook paper pad.   The smaller green motif, is from Core' Produce Green card stock.  I cut a black circle using my 2" circle punch to place behind the smaller motif.  The sentiments are from a Unity KOM , and were fussy cut after stamping on white card stock.   I used lots of foam squares for dimension.

Because I like to stick with things that make me smile....of course there is some 3 G irl JAM Crinkle Ribbon on my card.  The small bow was made using my Bow Maker and Sterling Crinkle Ribbon (Celebrations Bundle).

But, that's not all....
The Flair Button in the center of my card is also from 3  Girl JAM.

It is from of the Christmas Flair Set
(psssttt... which is in the shop for only $2.99 right now)

. . . and look, on a card in February....WHOOP...SCORE...BONUS!!!!

I am glad to be back and hope you feel inspired by my card today!

**** "HI Blends!!! I have really Missed YOU" ****

I wanted to stop in today to see how all of my Sweet Blends have been?
I know that I
have grown a bit "distant"
in the recent months
and hope you all
forgive me for the lack
of publishing posts
that you have come to expect from me
here at
Jessica's Craft Shaque.

In October 2012,  the Pinque Peacock Blog

and the Pinque Peacock Shop were launched!

I have become so humbled
by the immediate success
that has grown
right before my eyes.
It truly is remarkable
and still has me
in absolute amazement
and shock!
THANK YOU
ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

The support of new friends
and new customers
has drawn me in to
being very active there.
It really is a Happening Hang Out!

I still plan to post as much
as possible here,
but want you all to know
that if you don't see me
around the Shaque . . .
You will most likely
be able to find me
at Pinque Peacock.

I have been dedicating the last few month to planning some really fun
and exciting events, giveaways and our Monthly New Releases.

Today I am Eager to Share with You All
that
we will be hosting our Grand Announcement
Tomorrow, February 13th, 2013,
to INTRODUCE you to
the

YAHHOOOPPPPIEEEE
- don't miss it-

We would love to have you stop over to the Pinque Peacock BLOG and become a Follower.
The Facebook Page is a pretty happening spot, too.

I hope you will forgive me for being "scarce" lately, although, I never really went anywhere!  LOL!
I am still crafting, still connecting with friends on Facebook and at Blogs, and trying to stay in the Crafty Loop of all the Latest and Greatest work my Sweet Blends have been Creating!!!

I can't help myself lately because I am just having so much fun with Pinque Peacock right now.

I don't want to put Jessica's Craft Shaque on the back burner,  but I know I will be most likely be posting less and less here as the Pinque Peacock Blog and SHOP need to be nurtured right now, too!  I hope that as the New Team becomes familiar with the regular schedules we will follow, that I will have some Free Crafty Time to Play.  Then I can still share what I love most, CREATING!!!!

I hope to see you tomorrow for the Grand Announcement and
Look Forward to Catching Up with All of You SOON!!!!

I was inspired by our Beautiful Friend and Leader, Julie K of A Little Bit of Bling, and owner of 3  Girl JAM.  She shared her creation with all of our Design Team and I was absolutley in awe of her gorgeous techniques and end result on her State Line Bag.
 Isn't this truly Magnificent?
Way to Rock the Bag Julie....so thrilled over this beauty, that I had to share it!
THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION!

Here is the 3D Valentine Project I created after being so inspired by Julie's Project above!

I tried to spritz my homemade pink glimmer mist onto my bag, but my spray bottle was not being very cooperative.  I unscrewed the cap and painted the mix on the canvas bag instead.  As it dried, I began creating my tags.  I inked up the edges with American Crafts - Rouge Red.  I then stamped the background puzzle image from the Unity Set, Love you to pieces, using Dew Drops - Starlite Silver. I pleated some Summer Sprinkles Crinkle Ribbon around the edge of my tag for a softened appeal.  I stamped the same image onto a second Kraft Tag and placed that on the back of the first using 3D foam squares.  I added a fussy cut puzzle piece (another stamp in the Unity Set) and a heart to my tag.  The paper I used for the puzzle piece is Amy Tangerine-Sketchbook.  Aren't those rainbow hearts just darling!  I put the heart on an Action Wobble for extra pizazz!
The bag was then stamped with the same background puzzle image, but using my Ranger Embossing ink this time.  I sprinkled white embossing powder over the wet ink, then heat embossed.  I would suggest letting the heat gun be as far away as possible for this technique.  If you get to close, it will begin to discolor from the high heat.
I added the sentiment, Love you to pieces, from the same Unity Set using TH Distress Ink, Black Soot.  I went over the sentiment on the bag with my black gel pen for added darkness.
To finish off my State Line Bag, I added Cherry Lipstick and more Summer Sprinkles Crinkle Ribbon to the drawstrings.
I did a little more stamping and embossing on the back of the bag because you can never have too much, right?  LOL!  I wanted to show you also that if you get your heat tool too close to the painted bag, it can discolor it a bit.  See the center of the bag that has a bit of an orange hue?  That was pink, not orange...he he he!

Thanks EVER SO MUCH
lovely Blends and 3 Girl JAMmers
for stopping by today.
